As a standalone game, the most obvious difference from Shadow of Chernobyl is the sheer immensity of the Lost Alpha Zone in comparison. Many previously cut levels have been re-introduced such as Darkscape and Dead City where salient plot-lines are executed in a considerably more detailed, and arguably,

more coherent main quest. While the weaponry and armour remain largely unchanged

from the Base Game, upgrading has been engineered into the game and behaves similarly to these functions seen in

the other games: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. Technicians are, however, in short supply. Weaponry has been rebalanced in terms of

firepower (usually upwards for small arms and low-end

weaponry) with the result that players will probably now

wish to maintain suitable sidearms for the duration of the

game. Since the Lost Alpha Zone is so large and diverse, vehicles are re-introduced to facilitate Zonal travel. Many are

available within the levels for free, others may be

purchased from the Barkeep.

The term "Stalkers" was later used for the scientists and engineers

who explored the interior of Chernobyl's "sarcophagus" after its hasty construction in 1986.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, is the prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, a first-person shooter survival horror video game with RPG elements by Ukrainian developer GSC Game World.[2] The game consists of a roughly 50/50 mix of new areas and old, remodeled areas

from the previous game. The X-ray graphics engine has been updated to version 1.5 and includes DirectX 10 support (later patch 1.5.06 included DirectX 10.1). Additionally, the AI received an overhaul to accommodate the new faction wars feature. Plot While guiding a group of scientists through the Zone, Scar faints during a high energy emission. Scar, the only one to

survive, is then rescued by Clear Sky, a secret independent

Zone faction dedicated to researching and learning about

the Zone in their attempt to better understand it and its

related phenomena. It is not known how Scar has survived

the emission, but it is noted he has suffered damage to his central nervous system and seems to exhibit other, subtle physiological changes. The nature of these changes becomes clear shortly. Word

arrives that a platoon of Stalkers has come under attack by

mutants, and Lebedev, leader of the Clear Sky faction, asks

Scar to seek them out and help them. During the rescue

attempt another emission occurs with little warning, giving

Scar and the Stalkers no time to seek cover. Once again Scar is the sole survivor, recovering shortly after the

emission dies down. Lebedev is amazed that Scar is still

alive; the Clear Sky lead researcher, Beanpolev, believes

that Scar has acquired some "unusual ability" that allows

him to navigate and survive anomalies and parts of the

Zone that would normally kill any ordinary man.

Sleeping Dogs is a 2012 open world action-adventure video game developed by United Front Games and Square Enix London. It was published by Square Enix and Bandai Namco Games for Microsoft Windows and the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Set in contemporary Hong Kong, the single-player story follows Wei Shen, an undercover Hong Kong-American police officer on assignment to infiltrate

the Sun On Yee Triad organisation. Gameplay centres on Shen's fighting, shooting and parkour abilities, and on gadgets that can be used for combat and

exploration. Players must complete missions to unlock

content and continue the story, but they may instead wander

the game's open world and engage in both legal and criminal

activities. The latter may incite a police response, the

intensity of which is controlled by a "heat" system. Actions such as fighting, driving and racing grant Shen statistical

rewards and earn the player achievements. Sleeping Dogs '​s difficult and prolonged development began

in 2008. The game was announced in 2009 as part of the True Crime series but was cancelled by Activision Blizzard in 2011, as a result of the project's delays and budget

issues. Six months later, Square Enix bought the publishing

rights and renamed the game Sleeping Dogs, without the

True Crime license. During development, United Front staff

visited Hong Kong to conduct field research for the visual

environments and sound. Upon its release in 2012, the game received positive

reviews for its combat, voice acting, experience system and

depiction of the city; but its graphics, camera, and

animations were criticised. Within one year, the game had

sold over 1.5 million copies. New outfits, missions and add-

ons, as well as three expansion packs, were released as downloadable content in the six months following the game's debut. A remastered version, subtitled Definitive Edition, was released in October 2014 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It features improved graphical resolution and gameplay, setting and

audiovisual quality changes based on community feedback.

sensor to control the protagonist with their body instead of the Xbox 360 controller. In the Wii U version, the Gamepad controller's touchscreen

acts as an interface to access gadgets and other features

from the protagonist's arm-mounted computer, or OPSAT.

It also incorporates the screen and motion controls to

highlight enemies through thermal vision when using the

Killing in Motion mechanic.
